PFMS is pleased to join Folkworks at the 2025 Topanga Banjo & Fiddle Contest and Folk Festival. Stop by our table and say hello! This year’s event is May 18 at King Gillette Ranch. Music and step dancing competitions will be held along with a variety of musical performances on multiple stages. There will also workshops across a wide range of topics.

Interested in Folk Music from around the world? Check out Music in the Chinese Garden at The Huntington on Wednesdays from 1 – 3 pm through June 18. Music will be performed on the Erhu (two-stringed spike fiddle), Pipa (four-stringed plucked instrument similar to a lute), and Dizi (a transverse flute).
