While we diligently work on planning and booking our next concerts, here are two events to keep you entertained.
Members of the PFMS Board of Directors will be at the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest & Folk Festival on Sunday, May 19. We will be sharing a table with FolkWorks. We’d love it if you stop by and say hello, join our email list, and speak with us about the kinds of bands or music you would like to see in the future.
Festival Performers include AJ Lee & Blue Summit, The Way Down Wanderers, Grupo Bella, The Crooked Jades, and many others. The full line up, with videos, is available at this link.
Numerous workshops are available such as the Beginning Bluegrass Jam Class, Fiddle Workshop, and Dance Workshops, so bring your instruments and get ready to dance .
The festival will be in it’s new home at King Gillette Ranch, 26800 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas. Tickets are on sale here.
A new date of May 4 has been announced for the 2024 Long Beach Bluegrass Festival.
