For this special event on April 13, our Pasadena Folk Music Society has partnered with the Scottish Fiddlers of Los Angeles (SFLA) who will perform their 40th Annual Concert, with featured guest performers Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas. This show requires a much larger stage than our usual Pasadena venue, so please join us at the Hermosa Beach Community Theatre, 710 Pier Ave., Hermosa Beach.
The Scottish Fiddlers of L.A. will have approximately 40 members performing, and will alternate with Fraser & Haas during both sets of the concert. See this link for highlights of all the performers!
Alasdair Fraser was recently interviewed by Jody Gunn on a broad range of topics, including this upcoming concert and the ever evolving traditional Scottish music scene. Please read the interview on FolkWorks.
Remaining tickets can be purchased here. These general seating tickets are $20 each, plus a small handling fee. Tickets for children 12 and under are free. The concert is scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Hermosa Beach Community Theatre is a 502-seat theatre and a favorite venue for youth musical theatre groups, film premieres, dance productions, and a variety of shows. Parking is free and includes ADA Accessible and Electric Vehicle Charging spots.
