Does music make you feel like dancing?  Here are some suggestions for a variety of dance organizations to get you up and moving.

Caltech Folk Dance announcement list of folk dance and related activities in Southern California.

Celtic Arts Center has Monday night Irish Céilí Dance classes open to newcomers and regulars. Each class starts with step-by-step instruction followed by learning one or two traditional Céilí dance patterns. Start the night with an Irish Language Class or finish up with a traditional Celtic music seisiún (jam session).

Country Dance & Song Society steward the living traditions of English country dance, contra and square dance, morris and sword dance, and the music that is an integral part of these traditions. Their events calendar can be found here.

Folk Dance Federation of California, South lists Member Clubs and Associate Organizations for a variety of folk dancing around Southern California.

Historic Tea & Dance Society in Pasadena where one can learn and practice historical dance & socialize in a casual setting. Check out their Tuesday Dance Classes and 1st Sunday Live Music Dances.

Laguna International Dancers a recreational International folk dance club. Dance classes for all levels; no partner needed.

Pasadena Folk Dance Co-op meets Friday evenings from 7:30 till 9:30 for a variety of ethnic dances from countries around the world, some simple and some more challenging. 

The Living Tradition holds contra dances – a simple, early-American folk dance that everyone can enjoy – on the 4th Saturday of the month at the Anaheim Downtown Community Center. No formal lessons or partners are required.

Westside Folk Dancers, in Culver City, is open to folk dancers of all levels.
