DESCRIPTION:PFMS is happy to announce The Susie Glaze New Folk Ensemble at Knox Presbyterian Church on June 28 at 7:30 pm. \n \nSusie Glaze has been honored to be included on the newly-released Compass Records tribute album “Dear Jean – Artists Celebrate Jean Ritchie” alongside such artists as Judy Collins\, Pete Seeger\, Janis Ian\, Tim O’Brien\, John McCutcheon\, Robin and Linda Williams and many more. \nThe ensemble consists of Susie Glaze (lead vocals / guitar / autoharp / mountain dulcimer)\, Steve Rankin (Mandolin / guitar / bouzouki / Deering Old Time Banjo / vocals)\, Mark Indictor (fiddle / vocals)\, and Fred Sanders (bass / vocals). \n\n“The best new band I’ve never heard of!” – Dan Crary\n“…one of the finest and most original Americana groups in California (or in the country for that matter).” No Depression\n“…does something with a song that only great singers can do…” KCSN\, Northridge\, CA\n“One of the most beautiful voices in bluegrass and folk music today.” KPFK’s FolkScene\n“Her singing is impressive at all ranges…” Bluegrass Unlimited\n“…with people like this to trust\, my music will go on living\, and soaring. Tickets are $30 for Adults and $10 for Caltech Students and Youth through High School\, plus a handling fee set by Eventbrite.  Click here to purchase tickets.  \nOnce all tickets are sold\, you can choose to join the waitlist. If tickets become available due to cancellations or returns\, they are released to the first person on the waitlist\, who will have 24 hours to respond.
