Public Transportation

Wondering about public transportation to and from our concerts? To see what is available:

  • Use Google maps, which shows available bus and metro lines from your location to the venue. Then check your return trip by selecting the “depart at” option. This is important as many bus lines stop running before our concerts end.
  • Use Lyft or Uber or a Taxi

The following are some options we have identified. HOWEVER, schedules vary by line and day of the week. CHECK THE OFFICIAL Transit app before planning any trip as you may have options to the concert, but not home.

  • 187 Foothill Transit bus runs from Old Town Pasadena eastward to Azusa. The closest stop to Knox Presbyterian is at Hill and Colorado, in both directions. It connects with the Metro light rail.
  • 180 Metro bus runs along Colorado, west to Hollywood, with a stop at Hill Avenue, three blocks from Knox Presybeterian. The westbound stop is on Colorado, west of Hill. The eastbound terminal stop is by Pasadena City College, on the southeast corner of Colorado and Hill.
  • LA Metro A line stops at both Lake Ave and Allen (near Pasadena City College). It is about ~25 minute walk to Knox Presbyterian. The A line may run until 11 pm, but check the schedule and map before choosing this option.
  • 10 bus is a Pasadena Transit route that runs past Caltech and Knox Presbyterian on Del Mar. It can be used to get to our shows, but stops running before 8 pm.

TAP is the electronic fare payment system for public transportation in Los Angeles County. You can pay a fare with a contactless credit or debit card, smartphone, wearable device or a TAP card. It is accepted on 27 transit systems across the county.
