Knox Presbyterian Church

Refer to the map below (click on the map for a larger version).

Knox Church is located at 225 S. Hill in Pasadena, at the intersection of Hill Ave (pink) and Del Mar Blvd (blue). This is just 3 blocks east of Michigan Ave., 4 blocks east of Wilson Ave. (you might know these from previous visits to our shows) and 7 blocks east of Lake Ave.

We recommend carpooling when possible, but the map is meant to help you find parking in the neighborhood. Red lines indicate parallel parking on that side of the street. As you can see, there is a lot of red on the map, so nobody should have to park more than 3-4 blocks from the church. In some cases, there are parking restriction signs, but for all the red lined areas, the restrictions do not apply on Saturday night, even a couple that say “15 minute parking only”. Parking on Del Mar Blvd just below Pasadena City College (east of Hill), requires a PCC permit until 8pm on Saturdays, so do not park there.

The easiest parking is southwest of the church on Hill Ave., south of Del Mar, and on Rose Villa and Oakdale, where parking should be plentiful.  This area is in the lower right corner of the map. Parking on other streets is more likely to have some cars belonging to residents.

Knox has about 50 parking spaces behind the church, which is not enough for everybody. This number does not include some spaces that will be saved for people with disabilities.  Those with special needs are advised to arrive a bit early, perhaps 6:30.  If you don’t mind walking 2-3 blocks and are willing to do so, you might save someone with a disability some effort by parking on the street.

New! We recognize that some people in our audience may have difficulty standing before the doors open for seating, and some of you arrive early to get a good spot in line so you can get a good seat.  We are now reserving rows in front for anyone who needs accommodation due to mobility or standing issues, so you don’t have to worry about getting there early for a good seat.  We will also have an opportunity for indoor gathering in case of rain.   Shortly before the concert, we will email the details in a “What To Expect” message to all who buy online tickets.  On the night of the concert our hospitality volunteers will be there to guide you to the right places!
